Our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE is a height-adjustable, foldable gantry designed for easy storage and rapid deployment. Available in different sizes, This gantry provides adjustment for height of lift from 1.45m to 2.92m and beam options from 2m to 4m, giving a clear operating span of up to 3.5m.
This one-piece gantry weighs from just 37kg for the smallest to 69kg for the largest, demonstrating a tremendous strength to weight ratio with the ability to lift up to 500kg for personnel.

One-piece foldable gantry – All of our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE systems fold utilising our patented features ensuring they can be easily stored and transported to and from the worksite. Watch our assembly video here to see how easy it is to set up.
Integrated carry straps, handle and transport wheel – Each system comes with integrated carry straps, a handle and a transport wheel as standard. This makes moving the product around a worksite comfortable and easy, even for a single person. Lifts and stairwells are no problems!
Manufactured from marine grade aluminium – The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE is constructed from lightweight aluminium to ensure the system is easily transportable around a worksite.
3 users for fall protection – The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE can support up to three persons for fall protection applications depending on frame size. Before using our system for fall protection applications read a copy of our assembly and operation guide which can be found here. The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE is tested and certified to EN795:2012, PD CEN TS 16415:2013 and IRATA ICOP.
Winch capable – We offer a range of winch brackets that can be easily fitted to either the A-frame trap plate or to the upright. Our winch brackets are fully compatible with a wide range of personnel winches or fall arrest devices.
Sheave capable between the cheek plates – Each side of the gantry is designed to fit a sheave in between the cheek plates which enables you to route the cable from the winch or retrieval fall arrest device through to the underside of the beam.
Compatible single or double sheave carriers – The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE beam has holes along its length to allow for sheave carriers to be attached with push pins. The sheave carriers enable further routing of the cable to align above an opening making it ideal for confined space access tasks.
Gated trolley options – Both of the PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE patented gated trolley options are tested to EN795:2012 and can be used to hang lanyards or retractable lifelines. The trolley options are suitable for one user for fall arrest.
Set up with multiple accessories – Should you want to set up the system for two personnel winches or retrieval SRL’s, it is possible to have winch brackets and sheaves on each side of the gantry.
It is also possible to set up the PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE for dual-use. Whilst we do not advise carrying out goods lifting and personnel lifting operations simultaneously, you could set up the gantry up to lower a person into a work area from the winch and use a hoist, connected to a trolley to lift out equipment.
